NACCIMA: HAJIA SARATU IYA ALIYU BECOMES 20TH NACCIMA PRESIDENT
Hajia Saratu Iya Aliyu, erstwhile Deputy National President of the National Association of Chambers of Commerce, Industrious, Mines and Agriculture, NACCIMA, has emerged as the 20th National President of the body.
Saratu Iya Aliyu was on Thursday, inducted as the National President of National Association of Chambers of Commerce, Industries, Mines and Agriculture, NACCIMA at an event held at Hotel Seventeen in Kaduna.
In a gathering of the who-is-who in the business community in northern Nigeria, Saratu Iya Aliyu's investiture saw
Governors of Jigawa, Niger, Plateau and Kogi states in attendance while the host governor of Kaduna state, Mal. Nasir Ahmed el-Rufai was ably represented.
Chairman of the occasion was the former Military Head of State, Gen. Abdulsalam Abubakar who was ably accompanied by his amiable wife, Justice Titi Abubakar.
Saratu Aliyu, having served the meritoriously in various capacities in NACCIMA, is deservedly, well equipped to run the affairs of the association after the tenure of Iyalode Lawson.
One of the attendees, Alhaji Yusufu Alabi described Saratu Iya Aliyu as well equipped leader with a humble background in the business community who will take NACCIMA to greater heights.
"Hajia Saratu Iya Aliyu has the capacity, the quality and leadership capabilities to deliver and NACCIMA members should be ready for the new innovations that will come to the association", Alabi stated.
