The name Tompolo means different things to different people within Delta State and across Nigeria. Tompolo!!!

For us in Warri, Government Oweizide Ekpemupolo is not just an Ex-Militant leader; he is a freedom fighter. He fought for the emancipation of not only the Ijaws but for the people of the Niger Delta region.

Very lanky in stature and with his name heard everywhere as one of the most dreaded militants of the Niger Delta struggles, Tompolo is a very humble person when you meet him in person. He respects everyone he come across. He also respects the Pere of Gbaramatu Kingdom and other traditional rulers within and outside Delta State. 

One thing that will shock anyone who does not know him is that with his name that rings bell everywhere, Tompolo does not drink alcohol nor smoke and does not womanize. 

One thing you cannot take away from Tompolo is that he is a giver at anytime. He had sponsored many young people free of charge to different universities within and outside Nigeria.

Tompolo is a giver to fault irrespective of religion and tribe. There is no time you visit him that he does not take care of you financially and otherwise. In fact, after you leave him, you will like to visit him again. 

High Chief Oweizide Government Ekpemupolo is his real name. He had continued to preach peace and its sustanenance. He believes with peace and unity, the Niger Delta region will develope faster especially if the people speak with one voice. 

Today, Tompolo says NO to pipeline vandalism and other facilities owned by the Federal Government of Nigeria. His company, Tantita Security Services Limited is at the forefront championing this cause even to the detriment of his own in the Niger Delta Region.

Many within the region have tagged him an enemy because he is fighting a just cause with the help of Tantita Security Services Limited.

Tompolo deserve more supports and accolades of the federal government in the fight against pipeline vandalism because he represents truth and hates oppression. 

Tompolo is a good and straightforward man.
