Special Adviser to the Executive Chairman of Ughelli North Local Government Council, Comrade Kpohraror Emmanuel has appealed to Corporate organisations and residents alike, to team up with the council boss in making the locality, clean and peaceful.

Kpohraror stated this on Wednesday in his office at the Council headquarters, while addressing members of the Team Adode, ahead of the forthcoming monthly environmental exercise scheduled for Saturday, 24 March, 2021, from 6am-10am.

He used to the opportunity to call on traders, especially roadside traders and hawkers to join the administration of Chief Godwin Adode in ensuring that Ughelli North Local Government Council area remains clean and healthy at all times, saying; "a healthy environment is a wealthy environment".

He also appealed to Okada riders to ensure they support the Godwin Adode led administration by complying to orders of the council boss concerning the sanitation exercise, even as he reminded them (Okada riders) to stay off the major roads.

He warned that the directive of the Council leadership for Okada riders to stay off major roads was for their own safety and the overall safety of the general populace.

The Special Adviser further called on non residents to also abide with the directives put in place by the local government council, under the able leadership of Chief Godwin Adode stressing that a clean environment is for the benefit of everyone including those passing through from neighbouring states and councils.
