Following efforts by the Buhari-led government to fashion out ways to address the dwindling financial fortunes of the country, a team of notable experts from the economic and financial sectors recently attended a parley with the Economic Management Team of the government.

The meeting which was presided over by the Vice President, Prof. Yemi Osibanjo was to look into ways to address the economic challenges and proffer solutions and strategies that would help bring the nation out of the recession currently facing the country.

Top of the agenda was how best to reflate the economy and restore growth.

The Vice President, while addressing the economic experts, expressed the President’s determination to continuously consider and adopt policies that would boost business, increase employment and provide succor to the poor and disadvantaged in the society.

“We will continue to engage with experts and other stakeholders so we can measure progress of the economic policies that have been put in place.”

 
“The challenges are many but the opportunities are much greater and, we are clearly on the path to building and economy that will create jobs and ensure inclusive growth”.
