BUHARI WRITES NASS TO EXTEND VACATION

Following the inability of President Muhammadu Buhari GCFR to return from him 10day vacation which expired Friday last week, a statement from the Presidency has disclosed that the President would not resume work on the 6th February 2017 as earlier scheduled.
President Muhammadu Buhari has therefore written to the National Assembly (05th Feb. 2017), informing of his desire to extend his leave in order to complete and receive the results of a series of tests recommended by his doctors.
The statement which was signed Presidential Spokesman, Femi Adesina and released on Sunday 05th Feb states;
“The President had planned to return to Abuja this (Sunday) evening, but was advised to complete the test cycle before returning. The notice has since been dispatched to the Senate President, and Speaker, House of Representatives”, the statement read.
“Mr. President expresses his sincere gratitude to Nigerians for their concern, prayers and kind wishes”, Adeshina added.
