Hon. Monday Igbuya, Speaker of the Delta State House of Assembly, Sunday Deacon Bright Inegbeniki Idiake as a symbol of strength, compassion and dignity for the Esan people.
Igbuya stated this in a condolence message to the family of the late Deacon Bright Inegbeniki Idiake, describing him as "a man of peace and a man of his word”.
In his condolence message to the family, Igbuya praised the late Idiake for his unique leadership, his high moral character and passion for justice.
“Pa Idiake embodied the spirit of Jesus Christ in the way he lived his life and the manner in which he supported the church and the Esan Community. He also took family and business to the heart of his existence”, he said.
Igbuya who also described Idiake as a community leader, said he “will also be remembered for inspiring people, demonstrating Christianity in a practical sense and for his never ending generosity of heart”.
“My thoughts and prayers are with the Uzoya of Esanland, Chief Francis Inegbeniki and the entire members of the Inegbeniki clan of Opoji, Esan Central Local Government Area of Edo State", the Speaker said.
The late Deacon Inegbeniki died on Wednesday, January 25, 2017.
