The recent endorsement of Senator Arthur Ifeanyi Okowa by a former
Governor of Delta State and leading political figure in the PDP, Chief James
Onanefe Ibori has been described as commendable and very timely.
Giving the commendation is Chief Eddie Ono Sorhue, a chieftain of
the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Delta State.
Chief Sorhue while speaking with NAIJ NEWS ALERT, described
Ibori's endorsement of Governor Ifeanyi Okowa for re-election in
2019 as a welcome development following the pace of developmental strides and
achievements by the Okowa administration which spreads across the three
Senatorial zones of Delta state.
Governor Okowa's determination, according to Ono Sorhue, at
delivering quality leadership is evident in the robust style of governance that
requires the support of all deltans for another term in office.
Chief Sorhue reprimanded those who are trying to distract Governor
Okowa to desist from the act and allow him concentrate on the task of providing
quality leadership and its dividends to the people.
Ibori, at a function in his home town of Oghara, had
endorsed the incumbent governor for re-election stating that the governor
had a lot of ongoing developmental projects that need another term in office to
complete.
“We all are conscious of the excellent job that the governor and
his team are performing as he has put in place, a solid foundation for the
development of the good people of Delta state which is why we must support his
administration", Chief Eddie Ono Sorhue stated.
