CHIEF EDDIE ONO SORHUE CONDOLES DELTA STATE GOVT, NUT OVER LOSS OF 4 PRINCIPALS
The sad and unfortunate incident that occurred on the 24th March, 2017 whereby four (4) Principals reportedly lost their lives in a ghastly motor accident along Benin-Warri Expressway, is highly regrettable.
Chief Eddie Ono Sorhue, member of the Delta state Peace and Advisory Council commiserates with the Governor, His Excellency, Senator Arthur Ifeanyi Okowa, the government, the good people of Delta state and families of the deceased who lost their lives in the ghastly automobile accident.
Their untimely demise comes at a time that their services to the good people and government of Delta state is most needed.
This is a great loss to our educational sector but it is our hope and prayers that as a people, we will overcome.
Chief Eddie Ono Sorhue, in a statement issued in Asaba, the Delta state capital, prayed for the families of the deceased Principals while also, wishing the survivors speedy recovery as they recuperate from the injuries sustained.
Chief Ono Sorhue in the statement, noted that the sad and unfortunate incident marks a dark date in the educational calendar of Delta state. He enjoins members of the National Union of Teachers, Delta state Chapter to take the incident as an act of God as they march forward in providing quality and sustainable development in the educational sector of Delta state.
