Following reported cases of wanton killings and insecurity to lives and properties of the citizens of Delta state, a political stalwart and chieftain of the All Progressives Congress, APC Chief Great Ovedje Ogboru has lamented the insecurity in the region.

Speaking through his Principal Secretary, Prince Christopher Akpojotor Agaga

in a press release Thursday, Ogboru noted that many people still dread living in a city like Warri, Delta State till date.

According to the statement, “this fear is due to some personal experiences by many as there are reported cases of crime and criminality which includes car theft, armed robbery, and activities of miscreants in the society.

While acknowledging the presence of security personnel in the region, the “Peoples General” as he is fondly referred to, stated that the fear is still there. What can we do about this? Ogboru queried.

“Remember, investors will always consider security of their assets. If it's not secure they'll be no major development. Let's educate our people more often and make them understand the consequences, my dear good people of Delta State, Ogboru implored.
