2019 PRESIDENCY: ATIKU REMAINS THE BEST OPTION TO RESCUE NIGERIA..... ONUESOKE INSISTS

With the jostling, negotiations and wide consultations for the 2019 Presidential elections gathering momentum, top PDP chieftain, Chief Sunny Onuesoke has insisted that, Nigeria's former Vice President, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, GCON, remains the best option.

The Wazirin Adamawa who is also a presidential hopeful in the forthcoming General Election has been described as the best candidate for the highest office in the country come 2019.


Chief Onuesoke, an Environmental expert and a top chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, made this assertion while chatting with Naij News Alert in Warri, Delta state recently.

According to Onuesoke, his belief and support for the Wazirin Adamawa stemmed from the passion and love the former Vice President has for the development of the Nigerian state and this can be seen in the number of nigerians engaged by his various companies.

"The Love I have for Alhaji Atiku Abubakar is his strong capitalist nature; being the strongest in Nigeria, as he has more than 50,000 Nigerians on his pay roll, coupled with the multiplying effects on labour situation in the country".

"Atiku’s drive for social development of the country came long before the conceiving of the present democratic structure in the country and, this he had continued even after his tenure as the Vice President of Nigeria, in 2007".

"The dream of Atiku to see to the social and economic development of the country, has challenged other politicians, especially those who had had held offices since 1999, to come out and invest in the social needs of the people. This is the only way to improve the living standard of the average Nigerian", Onuesoke stressed.

"I call on politicians since 1999 to do likewise. They should emulate Atiku by investing on things that will propel the country into economic freedom", the Environmentalist stated.

He emphasized that, "for now, among the many that are canvassing for the Office of the President in 2019, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar is the only person that has a clear view of what to do to take the country to political and economic development".

"Atiku can only be compared to Donald Trump, the American President, as he has a clear view of what it takes to run a country that will propel us to a better political and economic freedom".

He stated that his support for Atiku is not because of his former position as a vice president, but because he is a diehard capitalist investor.

"I don’t support Atiku merely because he was a former Vice President, I support him because he is a diehard capitalist investor. He is somebody I communicate with, somebody I know one on one. He talks business. He talks employment. Also, he talks about social institutions, which is his main focus and dream. That was while I fell in love with his leadership style and I know he can deliver the country. In fact he is the best as we approach 2019".

Looking across the various contenders, the Wazirin Adamawa has overwhelming support in virtually every nook and cranny in the country, thereby posing the largest threat to the incumbent.
