DELTA STATE: OKOWA COMMISSIONS UGBOMRO ROAD; Traditional Leader Assures of 100% Support.

Smart Agenda Governor of Delta state, Senator Arthur Ifeanyi Okowa has been assured of 100% support and votes, following his quality provision of good governance.



Traditional ruler of Uvwie Kingdom, Delta State, His Royal Majesty Emmanuel Sideso OON, JP Abe I, praised the Delta State Governor, Sen. Ifeanyi Okowa on the occasion of constructing/completing and commissioning of Ugbomro access road in Uvwie Kingdom.

Describing the governor as a great friend of Uvwie Kingdom, Abe I, tells Okowa expressed the appreciation of his people for the job done.

The Uvwie Monarch made this known recently at Ugbomro during the commissioning of a historic gigantic access road project conceived and executed by the Okowa led administration in Delta State which was abandoned by past administrations.

He appealed to Dr. Okowa to help direct for the completion of the abandoned Maternal Childcare at General Hospital Ekpan, which according to him, is strategically positioned to cater for healthcare delivery in the area and beyond.

The traditional ruler however pledged to continually support the governor to succeed in his quest of developing the state.

His Royal Majesty Abe I, highlighted some infrastructures that requires the state government attention to include: Effurun-Warri Sapele road, the reconstruction and fixing of failed portions at Jakpa junction, Airport junction as well as fix flood prone areas in the local government area.

The first Vice President General of Uvwie Improvement Union and also President General of  Ugbomro Community, Mr. Elvis Eramadawa assured Dr. Okowa of the community's readiness to give him more than hundred percent of their votes come 2019 poll.

Mr. Eramadawa commended the governor for coming to their aid by writing his name in the book of history in the state.

He lauded the community youths and other stakeholders  for cooperating and as well  providing peaceful environment  while the project lasted.

The Ugbomro PG and Uvwie Improvement Union First Vice President, Mr. Eramadawa urged all Uvwie sons, daughters and all Deltans to rally around the Okowa administration in order to get more development projects in all areas across the state.

The Unuevwero of Uvwie Kingdom and Ugbomro Community, High Chief Ambrose Olughor JP, described Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa as the greatest  man he has come across in recent time, adding that when the governor came onboard he promised to construct the road within his first tenure, noting that; "Okowa has kept to his promise. He is a promise keeper, he delivered within two years in office".

Others who spoke at the road commissioning are Delta State Commissioner of Science & Technology, Hon. Bright Edejeghro, Hon. Matthew Itsekiri, Hon. Solomon Ighrakpata, Chairman of Uvwie Local Government Hon. Ramson Tega Onoyake as well as other stakeholders.
