"STOP USING YOUR WOLF IN SHEEP CLOTHES TACTICS TO BLACKMAIL AND INTIMIDATE NATIONAL ASSEMBLY LEADERS", ONUESOKE Tells Oshiomhole

A chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party in Delta State, Chief Sunny Okpako Onuesoke has cautioned the Chairman of the ruling All Progressives Congress, Comrade Adams Aliu Oshiomhole, to stop using his wolf in sheep cloth tactics of blackmail in his labour days to intimidate leaders of the National Assembly.


According to the former gubernatorial aspirant, the former Nigeria Labour Congress leader mistakes labour union for politics.

Onuesoke made this disclosure at the end of the National Consciousness Summit held in Abuja over the weekend.

"Adams Oshiomhole mistakes labour union for politics; he is bringing into politics, his tactics of blackmail and intimidation during his days as a union leader into the political fray".

"His desperation to see Saraki removed as the Senate President in an attempt to reward his paymaster, is not only callous but also uncalled for".

Speaking further, the PDP chieftain noted that, "the desire to see about an unlawful change in the leadership of the National Assembly is borne out of a secret promise he made to President Buhari to sack Saraki before he returns from vacation. Unfortunately, he failed woefully to the disappointment of his co-travelers and sponsors", he stated.
  
"Nigerians are not fools as his activities as a union leader during the Obasanjo's days of fuel price hike, is still very much in our memory; behaving as a wolf in sheep clothing blackmailing and deceiving Nigerians into weeks of strike and protests, only to end up collecting bribes running into millions of naira while millions of Nigerians languished in pain and penury".

"Since his assumption as the chairman of the factional and failed ruling party, he has been going about threatening fire and brimstone".

"First, he threatened to expel a serving Minister and now, he is championing 'Saraki Must Go'; teaching Distinguished Senators how to do their job as lawmakers, thereby heating up the polity unnecessarily".

"It’s so unfortunate that, as party chairman, he does not have a clear understanding of our parliamentary procedures and rules. His actions so far, has shown that he is ignorant of our legislative etiquette and parliamentary history", Onuesoke further added.
