DELTA CENTRAL MEGA RALLY: GOV OKOWA, ESISO TO RECEIVE DECAMPEES FROM APC........As Great Ogboru's Key Supporters Set To Dump APC.

Ahead of the scheduled primaries for the 2019 elections, a major political tsunami will on Wednesday 12th September, 2018 hit the Delta State Chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC), as some key supporters and political pressure group loyal to Chief Great Ogboru and Senator Ovie Omo Agege have concluded plans to set their APC membership cards and broom ablaze and join the largest political party in Africa, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).



A statement from the Executive Assistant to the Governor of Delta State on Communications, Dr (Barrister) Fred Oghenesivbe quoted the Chairman, Organising Committee of Delta Central Mega Rally, Chief Terry Noah as saying that the massive defection from APC to PDP slated for Wednesday this week, shall further paralyse the politically doomed opposition in the state before 2019 general elections.

Noah, according to the statement of the EAC to Gov. Okowa, further disclosed that plans have been concluded by the State Party Chairman of PDP, Barrister Kingsley Esiso, to replace the decampees' worthless brooms with PDP flags and membership cards, adding that the state party leader and Smart Governor of Delta State, Senator (Dr) Ifeanyi Arthur Okowa shall personally receive and welcome the decampees to PDP.

Oghenesivbe who is also a member of the Mega rally Publicity and Communication Sub-Committee further posited that Delta Central PDP Chairman, Chief AP Fovie has giving marching order to all PDP Local Government Chairman in the eight LGAs to ensure full participation by way of mass mobilization of party faithfuls and supporters so as to once again confirm the political supremacy of PDP in Delta Central Senatorial District and by extension the entire state.

"Wednesday 12th September 2018, shall sink APC Delta and rubbish the inferior political complex which earned him failure in gubernatorial elections from 2003 to 2015".

"2019 shall be remembered in political history as the fifth time Ogboru contested and lost woefully in gubernatorial elections in Delta State", Oghenesivbe added.

Chief Terry Noah, directed that PDP party faithfuls and all decampees should arrive Ughelli Township Stadium,.cebue of the Mega rally, on or before 10am on Wednesday 12th September.

In the same vein, the State Party Chairman, Okakuro Kingsley Esiso gave a firm order that all former and serving elected representatives and political appointees from Delta Central including Commissioners, Head of Agencies, Parastatals and Departments must attend the mega rally.

Dignitaries expected at the Delta Central Mega Rally includes; Deputy Governor, Deacon Kingsley Otuaro, Speaker, Delta State House of Assembly, Rt Hon Sheriff Oborevwori, Chairman of Delta State Chapter of PDP, Barrister Kingsley Esiso, Secretary to Delta State Government, Hon Festus Ovie Agas, Chief of Staff to Delta State Governor, Hon Tam Brisibe, Chief Fred Majemite, some members of the state executive Council, to mention but a few.
