2019 DELTA GOVERNORSHIP DEBATE: "I Am Ready For NUJ Debate.... AAC's Esanubi Declares

Ahead of the 2019 Governorship elections in Delta state, frontline activist and advocate for better society and governance, Comrade Frank Ufuoma Esanubi has declared his readiness for the Gubernatorial Candidates Debate, being organised by the Nigeria Union of Journalists, NUJ, Delta state chapter.



Comrade Esanubi, who is contesting the seat of governor, under the African Action Congress, restated his readiness to attend and subject himself to the debate being organized by the NUJ Delta State council, come February 2019.

A statement signed by Monday Ojomah, Director of Media and Publicity of Frank Ufuoma Esanubi Campaign Organization and a copy made available to Naij News Alert, disclosed that the AAC candidate appreciates the Delta State NUJ for putting together such debate and extending invitation to him as this platform will provide an avenue for those vying for the exalted Governorship position, articulate their programs to the people of the state.

Esanubi therefore, called on all other contestants to make themselves available for the proposed debate and allow Deltans compare and contrast, their respective programs and make the necessary decision as for who is the most qualified candidate for the position of the Governor of Delta State.

He, however advised and appealed to the organizers to extend the debate to the respective Deputy Governorship candidates as well.

According to him, "this will open more windows of options in the judgmental abilities of the electorates", he stated.
