..... Wonders how a government that has claimed that the country is broke could spend such amount daily.

With the claims of going broke by the country’s leadership and the need to borrow funds to enable it meet with its obligations, it has been alleged that the daily allowance of the Presidential Taskforce is N500,000 per each member.

This was the revelation of former Deputy National Publicity Secretary of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and political activist, Comrade Timi Frank.

According to Frank, officials of the federal government have turned the current Coronavirus pandemic to business.

Making the accusation on his official twitter account, @RealTimiFrank on Wednesday, the Baylesa born political activist said each seating for every member of the Presidential Taskforce Committee is five hundred thousand.

He wondered how a government who has claimed that the country is broke could spend such amount daily.

"COVID-19 is now a profit making venture for officials of the Federal Government. That is why they want to withdraw 150million dollars to share from our sovereign wealth fund”, he revealed.

"Each seating allowance for every member of the Presidential Taskforce Committee is 500k daily. This is same Government that claims they are broke".

With this allegation trailing the Committee, one wonders how it will wriggle itself out considering that this allegation is coming from someone with deep knowledge of happenings inside the corridors of power especially within the All Progressive Congress, APC.
