GUNMEN KILL TWO, INJURE OTHERS IN KADUNA ATTACK.

Yet to be identified gunmen on Tuesday attacked Jagindi Tasha community in Jama'a Local Government Area of Kaduna state, killing two (2) persons with others severely injured.

Available reports revealed the gunmen stormed the community in the late hours of Tuesday, 31st March while people were indoors observing the #StayHome directives of the state government.

According to eyewitness reports, the gunmen arrived the community at about 8pm that ill-fated evening and broke into the compound of the former District Head of Jagindi community, Mr. Danlami Barde, where they killed him and his mother in cold blood.

Chairman of Jama'a Local Government Council described the unfortunate incident as an act of barbarism and pledged to do all he can to bring the culprits to justice.

A member of the community who spoke on the condition of anonymity,  said the incident was unfortunate and brings to question how possible it would be that unknown gunmen would attack Jangidi Tasha community at a time when security operatives would have been on patrol enforcing the #StayHome order and directives of the state government.

When contacted on phone, the Police Public Relations Officer of the Kaduna state Command, ASP Muhammad Jalige promised to revert back to this platform.
