BUHARI'S SPEECH; INSENSITIVE AND AN INSULT TO NIGERIANS..... Timi Frank

""No sympathy to the bereaved, rather, he threatened Nigerians. His statement is mechanical and devoid of sympathy. Nigerians deserve more! What a shame!

The much awaited address from the Nigerian president has come and gone but certainly not the sour and bitter taste it has left in the mouth of Nigerians.

While Nigerians were clamouring for Major General Muhammadu Buhari to address the people following the killings of unarmed youths protesting across the country, armed men in the uniform of the Nigerian army had opened fire on the innocent youths, killing several of the protesters who had gathered at the Lekki Toll Gate in Lagos State.

In a swift reaction via his verified Twitter handle, political activist and former National Deputy Secretary of the All Progressive Congress APC, Comrade Timi Frank had described  the speech by Major General Muhammadu Buhari as it relates to the #EndSarsProtest as a total insult and mockery to all Nigerians.

Timi Frank, in his tweet, expressed his dissatisfaction that the speech by the former Army General who had struggled to emerge President after three failed attempts and had also, openly cried on national television when the people rejected him at the polls, showed "No sympathy to the bereaved, rather, he threatened Nigerians. His statement is mechanical and devoid of sympathy. Nigerians deserve more! What a shame!

Timi Frank, in several tweets, has continued to call on the US, UK, the United Nations and the international community to sanction the Buhari led APC government in Nigeria for its human rights abuses and flagrant disobedience to rules of engagement.
