DELTA APC: Akpodiete Dumps APC, Defects To PDP.

The All Progressive Congress, APC in Delta State has lost one of its loyalist, Hon. Barr. Akpodiete Edoja Rufus, a former DTHA member, Ughelli North Constituency 2 to the ruling Peoples Democratic Party PDP.

Akpodiete, who represented Ughelli North Constituency II, defected back to his former political party on Saturday, 17 October, 2020 in a fanfare led by a former Secretary to the Delta State Government, Chief Festus Ovie Agas.

Agas, who is currently the Chief Strategist to the Governor of Delta State has in his company, top party chieftains and followers in Ughelli North.

With this defection of Hon. Akpodiete, the ranks of the APC in Ughelli North Constituency II has been depleted as the former State Assembly member was a committed Grassroots-Mobilizer.
