#ENDSARS: AREGBESOLA MEETS STAKEHOLDERS IN OSUN

With the view to ensuring that a repeat of the #ENDSARS protest that rocked most cities in the country including the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja, including other breach of security does not occur again, members of the Federal Executive Council, FEC are in their respective states to engage key and relevant stakeholders.
This is in compliance with Presidential directive.
A statement from the Director, Press and Public Relations, Mohammed Manga, on behalf of the Honourable Minister of Interior, Ogbeni Rauf Adesoji Aregbesola disclosed that a Stakeholders’ Engagement Meeting with different Stakeholders, has commenced in Osun State.
According to the statement, "as part of the stakeholders’ meeting, the Minister and his entourage paid a courtesy call on an elder statesman, Chief Bisi Akande alongside with the Executive Governor of Osun State, Alhaji Gboyega Oyetola in Ila Orangu.

"During the courtesy visit, Chief Akande advised the entourage on #ENDSARS, insecurity and other issues", the statement ended.

It is recalled that, the #EndSARS Protests had resulted in the destruction of scores of government properties including those of individuals across the country with attendant loss of lives that drew international outrage and attention.
Many therefore, have commended the federal government initiative at forestalling a future break in communication between government relevant stakeholders.
