BREAKING NOW: Muhammadu Buhari Sacks Service Chiefs

With the pressure mounted on President Muhammadu  Buhari to replace his Service Chiefs, the Nigerian leader has finally capitulated the calls of concerned citizens.

A mid-afternoon tweet on Tuesday from Presidential spokesman, Femi Adesina, revealed this today. 

According to Adeshina, the President has appointed Maj. Gen. LEO Irabor, as the new Chief of Defence Staff while Maj Gen I Attahiru takes over from Lt. General Tukur Buratai as Chief of Army Staff.

The tweet further disclosed that Rear Adm AZ Gambo was appointed Chief of Naval Staff while AVM IO Alao was appointed as the Chief of Air Staff.
