Social media influencers in Ughelli North Local Government Council of Delta state on the Media Team of Adode Again have been charged to desist from politics of bitterness and hatred and also, avoid insulting leaders and party faithful.

This was the admonition of the Political Adviser to the Executive Chairman of the Council, Mr. Emmanuel Kpohraror on Thursday in his office.

Kpohraror, while interacting with his colleagues, appealed for a robust working synergy that will further the policies of their principal, Hon. Godwin Adode which is primed on the deliverance of quality service to the good people of Ughelli North Local Government Council.

He also warned against any attempt to indulge in the "Pull Him Down" syndrome that has been the Hallmark of some scrupulous social media persons in some other councils as that is alien to Ughelli North where decorum, respect for elders, party rules and regulations are highly regarded and adhered to.

The Special Adviser, Political Matters to the Council boss, also used the opportunity to appeal to youths in the locality to shun social vices and other unethical practices that society frowns upon.

He said; "Until youths begin to embrace positivity in their actions and general conduct, the perception of many remains that youths have no business in leadership roles and governance".

He therefore, enjoined all political appointees to remained dedicated and true to the service of their people.
