The Special Adviser on Media and Publicity to the Executive Chairman of Ughelli North Local Government Council, Comrade Emmanuel Kpohraror has enjoined newly appointed aides of the council boss, to put service first, in the discharge of their duties.
Kpohraror made this known in an Easter Goodwill message to appointees and members of the Team Adode on Sunday while celebrating the Easter.
The Special Adviser admonished his colleagues to see the second tenure of the Council Chairman as an opportunity to consolidate on the achievements garnered by a hardworking and dedicated leader whose passion to provide quality service and leadership to his constituents, saw to his landslide electoral victory at the polls.
Kpohraror also used the opportunity to appeal to youths in the LGA to continue to support the Hon. Godwin Adode led administration as it is poised to deliver quality democratic dividends and sustainable leadership that will attract developmental growth to the Council area and the residents alike.
"Supporting the Executive Chairman in his developmental strides that will bring about the success of the 'Adode administration is a sine`qua non for everyone of us and how we can achieve this is by ensuring that we remain focused and dedicated to our assigned duties and responsibilities"..
"It is therefore, expected that we do not work contrary to the policy drive of our leader and the populace. Service First, must be our watchword in all that we do", he said.
"I therefore appeal to every member of the team to ensure that, as Ambassadors of the Team Adode, we must not disappoint or fail in the discharge of our duties".
Kpohraror noted that as Christians, the people must remember that the reason for the season is the Resurrection of Jesus Christ and as such, do everything to uphold the virtues of Christ, the Saviour.
