NSCDC KADUNA NEW COMMANDANT MOVES TO DELIVER ON ACTIONABLE INTELLIGENCE

"Improve on the performance of the corps to address the challenge of insecurity affecting the state".... Aruwan tells Kaduna NSCDC Commandant .

Newly posted Commandant of NSCDC Kaduna State Command, GU MIEBI, has swung into action to justify the confidence reposed in him by the Commandant-General, NSCDC, Ahmed A. Audi, PhD, Mni. 

This, Commandant Miebi has done when he extended a visit to Sir Kashim Ibrahim House, Kaduna and met with the Commissioner for Internal Security and Home Affairs, Mr Sam Aruwan to submit his posting letter from the Commandant General of the corps for onward submission to the State Governor, Mallam Nasir el-Rufai.

Miebi used the opportunity to appreciate the State government for all support given corps and sought for more to enable the NSCDC deliver on its mandates as he pledged his best efforts.

The Commissioner who was accompanied by the Permanent Secretary in the Ministry welcomed Miebi in the state, appreciating the contributions of the corps especially in the protection of Critical National Assets and Infrastructure in the state.

Aruwan called on the Commandant not only to maintain the status quo, but improve on the performance of the corps to address the challenge of insecurity affecting the state.

In the same vein, the Commandant has extended similar visits to the Department of State Service and Nigerian Air Force with plans to replicate same to other security agencies in order to familiarize with them, build on existing synergy and seek collaboration to reposition the corps for optimum performance.

So far, the command has been assured of more collaboration from other agencies especially in information sharing with a call to focus more on actionable intelligence.

The Commandant plans to end visits to security agencies and the media with other agencies soon.
