GROUP DEMANDS IMMEDIATE RELEASE OF NNAMDI KANU.... Freedom For Besieged Biafra And Unconditional Release of Abducted Freedom Fighter, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu

"The Concerned Biafrans In America (CBA) is a group of Biafrans living in America who are seeking to mobilize resources and logistical support, and also, raise awareness of America and American government to the ongoing siege, assault and slaughter of indigenous peoples of southern Nigeria, and Biafrans in particular in their homeland”.   

                 

A group, under the aegis of Concerned of Biafrans in America, CBA, has called on foreign governments especially the UK, USA, EU, UN including the AU to prevail in the General Muhammadu Buhari led government in Nigeria to put to a stop, the extra judicial killings, maiming, plundering, kidnapping, raping, unlawful arrests and incarceration of men (young and old), for peacefully protesting to express their universal rights to self-determination. 

The group, in a statement on Monday, warned that Nigeria’s President Muhammadu Buhari and his military, in collusion with their terrorist wing, the itinerant Fulani herdsmen, jihadists Miyetti Allah, Boko Haram and ISWA (ISIS in West Africa), have laid siege on Biafra – South east Nigeria, for several months now.

According to the CBA, "President Buhari’s government has engaged in extra judicial killings, maiming, plundering, kidnapping, raping, unlawful arrests and incarceration of men (young and old), for peacefully protesting to express their universal rights to self-determination". 

"Innocent young men in particular, are seized from their homes by military officials, never to be seen again", the group alleged. 

"We seek freedom from the systematic persecution, chaos, insecurity and crass corruption that pervade Nigeria". 

"President Buhari recently conspired with the Kenyan government to forcefully abduct (extraordinary rendition), torture and incarcerate the foremost Biafran freedom fighter, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, a British citizen, while traveling through Kenya with his British passport. He has since been repatriated to Nigeria, against his will, contrary to all known international protocols".  

"Buhari’s government, dominated by his Fulani kinsmen and northern Nigeria Muslims, has in addition, been enacting new draconian laws to stifle freedom of speech on social and print media, setting the stage for a totalitarian police state". 

"He recently banned Twitter in Nigeria", the CBA stated. 

Call To Action: 

"South eastern Nigerians (Biafrans) in America and our homeland are calling on the governments and peoples of the UK (Former Colonists), the USA, the EU, the UN, AU and all lovers of freedom and democracy to bear on the dictatorial regime of President Buhari to unconditionally, release all Biafran prisoners of conscience immediately". 

"We beseech the afore mentioned governments to stop providing President Buhari’s regime with weapons and other military hardware which they use to commit heinous crimes against Biafrans and other indigenous peoples in Southern and Middle Belt Nigeria". 

"We also implore these governments to place immediate travel bans on functionaries of President Buhari’s government, and to freeze their ill-gotten offshore financial assets and property". 

"President Buhari and his government must be held accountable for their outrageous crimes against hunger stricken weary peace-loving humanity in Nigeria in his quest to silence dissenting voices". 

"President Buhari must be made to accede to an internationally supervised referendum in Biafra and other regions of Nigeria, where indigenous peoples are agitating to exercise their rights to self-determination".
