RESTRUCTURING: INDIGENOUS PEOPLE OF NIGERIA, IPN APPOINTS TAMUNOTONYE INIORIBO AS EXECUTIVE SECRETARY

With calls for the restructuring of the country getting a pitch higher everyday, a group of concerned stakeholders, desirous of a better Nigeria, has added its voice to the urgent need for the restructure, if the nation must remain one and united.

The group, under the aegis of the Indigenous People of Nigeria, IPN, is committed to the advancement of the interests of the rights of Nigeria's indigenous people.

Accordingly, IPN has therefore, announced the appointment of Mr Tamunotonye Inioribo as its Executive Secretary.

The group, in a statement signed by its Convener, Mazi Nnamdi Dickson Iroegbu DGN, disclosed that IPON aims to fill the vacuum created by the ineptitude of the present administration in Nigeria and to enable the required bridges for the much desired renegotiated country.

The statement which announced the appointment of Tamunotonye Inioribo on Saturday evening, stressed that with this appointment, Mr Tamunotonye is expected to work with other leaders of the organisation, which include people across every ethnic nationalities in Nigeria, to advocate for and speak for the interests of the indigenous Nigerians irrespective of creed.
