DELTA 2023: EDEVBIE STORMS JESSE, VISITS IDJERHE LEADER CHIEF BARR. JOHN NANI, AMIDST FANFAIR.

A Frontline aspirant for the 2023 Governorship Election in Delta State, Chief David Edevbie on Monday stormed the country home of the political leader of Idjerhe Kingdom, Olorogun Barr. John Obukohwo Nani, to inform him of his ambition to contest for the 2023 Governorship position in Delta State.

The immediate past Chief of Staff to Government House, Chief Edevbie, while expressing his confidence on his readiness to contest for the 2023 Governorship election, told the EDFA openly about his determination to transform Delta State and Ethiope west people, if considered by the party.

Chief Edevbie who came in a motorcade, was accompanied by top Deltans amongst whom are Chief Vincent Uduaghan, Ogbuefi Clement Ofuani, Chief Dr. Karo Ilolo and other Creme De La Creme in Delta state.

He later averred, that their decision to consult the Idjerhe leader Chief Nani, is connected to the fact that he is a major anchor point and player in Ethiope west politics and beyond, being one of the relevant political leader in Ethiope West LGA. and Delta State.

Chief Edevbie was particularly happy about the giant strides of Chief Nani Aghwemutuwevwi political family, under his leadership, which has been of tremendous support to the entire PDP family in Delta State.

The former Chief of Staff to the Delta Government House, reiterated that he needs the full Support and assistance of Chief Nani's political empire cum followers in Ethiope west LGA and beyond, to enable him become the next Governor of Delta State. He thanked the APF leader for the warm reception.

In a swift reaction, the former Delta State house of Assembly member and EDFA DESOPADEC, Chief Nani, told Chief Edevbie that, with God, all things are possible. He advised him to look unto God almighty, while stressing the need for more unity amongst Urhobo aspirants in the Governorship race.

The ebullient leader and EDFA DESOPADEC, later assured Chief Edevbie of his leadership and followership determination across Ethiope west LGA and beyond, to support the stronger Delta Agenda of his Excellency, the Executive Governor of Delta State, Senator Dr Ifeanyi Arthur Okowa, in collaboration with other top leaders in Delta state, by ensuring equity, fairness and justice towards the emergence of the 2023 Governorship candidate for Delta State PDP.

The EDFA DESOPADEC however expressed great thanks to Chief Edevbie team for the visit and assured them of his  commitment towards supporting the leadership of the People's Democratic Party in the state in electing a credible Governorship candidate for Delta State PDP in 2023..

Other dignitaries present included Chief Idris Oyibo, Chief Peace Aghomi, the Omovudu of Idjerhe Kingdom, Chief Emmanuel Umukoro, the Obarisi of Idjerhe Kingdom, Chief Super Abonoko.
