DELTA 2023: EDEVBIE CONSULTS EMEYESE OVER HIS GUBERNATORIAL AMBITION.... Promises Improved Social-Economic And Human Capital Development Agenda For All Deltans.

The immediate past Chief of Staff, Government House, Asaba, Olorogun David Edevbie, yesterday Sunday, paid a consultative visit to Rt. Hon. {Barr.} Akpodiogaga Sunny Emeyese  over his Gubernatorial ambition in 2023.

Olorogun Engr. David Edevbie noted that his visit was to formally seek the support of the Ex-Federal lawmaker in his quest to succeed Senator {Dr.} Arthur Ifeanyi Okowa as the Executive Governor of Delta State. 

"It is no longer news that I am in the race to become the next Governor of Delta State. I believe there is no limit to what we can achieve with the right team in place to drive a robust social-economic and human capital development agenda for ourselves and successive generations", he averred.

The frontline Governorship aspirant noted in his remarks that although it is the turn of Delta Central to produce the next Governor of the state, the journey will not be a tea party. Therefore, all hands must be on deck to secure his aspiration as he will be running an all-inclusive government if elected.

In his remarks, Olorogun {Barr}. Sunny Emeyese thanked the Ex-Commissioner of Finance for visiting him. He noted that the choice of who becomes the next Governor of Delta State will be made at the appropriate time. As a party faithful, I earnestly await the direction of Governor Ifeanyi Okowa and Chief James Onanefe Ibori on the next step to take.

"I thank you for the honour of this visit. The issue of who becomes Governor of Delta State in 2023 has a lot to do with unity amongst our ranks as a party. As party stalwarts, we await directions from our leaders, the Governor of Delta State, Sen. {Dr.} Arthur Ifeanyi Okowa and Chief James Onanefe Ibori at the appropriate time. We pray for peace and understanding between them as they make this all important decision".

The Special Adviser to the Governor and Convener, Ethiope East Political Forum while offering prayers for the success of Olorogun Edevbie's aspiration, called on him to prioritize youth development if elected as the next Governor of Delta State.

The youths, according to him are "the engine room of every politician". 

"The youths and the women are always ready to work for the success of every political process. I, therefore, enjoin you to remember your promises to the youths when you eventually emerge as Delta's next Governor.

The visit which took place at Otobrise Hotel, Kokori, had Hon. Love Ojakovo, and other distinguished dignitaries present.
