38Yrs Old Man, Abducted 12 Days To His Wedding, Abandoned In Forest In Ibokun, Osun State By Kidnappers

A 30-year-old man, identified as Saheed Baruwa, who was declared missing on Tuesday December 7, 2021 by his family members, 12 days to his wedding, has been found. 

Baruwa, a plumber, had reportedly left his home on Tuesday, December 7, 2021, to work around Gbeja area of Osogbo but didn't return home. His unannounced absence caused panic and fears among his loved ones who immediately shared messages online, asking for help to locate him as his wedding day was fast approaching. 

According to his family and friends, he was allegedly lured by people who claimed they had a plumbing job for him. He was reported to have met them for the job and willingly, entered their car, not knowing they were kidnappers. 

He was abducted alongside with two others and later abandoned in a forest in Ibokun, Osun State, by his abductors after he paid for his freedom. He revealed that kidnappers reportedly forced him to empty his account. 

The other victims, according to Baruwa, are reportedly still with the kidnappers as at the time he was released because they did not have enough money in their account to pay for their freedom.
