2023: MAJOR OPPOSITION PARTY, PDP SCHEDULES NORTHWEST ZONAL CONGRESS FOR FEB. 12

Ahead of the 2023 General Elections in Nigeria, the major opposition party, the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP has scheduled its outstanding Zonal Congress for its North-West Zone for the purpose of electing NW Zonal Working Committee and National Ex-Officios for Saturday, February 12, 2022.
This was part of the resolution of the PDP National Working Committee (NWC) at its meeting on Wednesday, January 12, 2022.
According to the party, in a statement issued by its National Organizing Secretary, Hon. Umaru M. Bature, disclosed that its North-West Zonal Congress is slated to hold at the Zonal Headquarters of the party in Kaduna state.
He stressed that "All critical stakeholders and teeming members of our great party in the North-West Zone are by this informed and guided accordingly."
