ANYIM, PRESIDENTIAL HOPEFUL OF PDP SAYS NO TIME FOR FAVOURITISM. ....Says A Good Leader's Priority Should Be To Build A Consensus That Will Unite All Groups And Foster Unified Progress.

Presidential hopeful of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Senator Anyim Pius Anyim, GCON has stated that a good leader does not play favourites in office if he must build and unite the country and the people he leads.

Anyim, who has remained consistent in his nationwide consultation with prominent personalities and stakeholders of the PDP and beyond, revealed that, one lesson he has learnt, with his over 30 years of experience in the public service, is that, "I have learnt that a true leader does not play favourites." 

He said: This lesson is even more critical in a country like Nigeria that houses over 250 ethnic groups.  

"It is imperative that the leadership of a country like ours should be sensitive enough to the peculiarities of each group. 

 "It should be its priority to build a consensus that will unite all groups and foster unified progress." Anyim opined

He pointed out that "Nigeria is at the verge of becoming great."
