Scores of residents in Atak-Mawe community (Kurmin Masara) in  Zangon Kataf Local Government Council Area of Kaduna state, North West of Nigeria, are reportedly feared dead, following an early morning attack by persons alleged to be Fulani herdsmen militia in the early hours of Sunday, 30th January 2022

According to a source, the attack by the suspected terrorists on the community occured in the early hours of Sunday morning at about 3am as the group of armed men began shooting sporadically.

Attempt to confirm the exact casualty figures were futile as many were still missing as at the time of filing this report.
