ALIERO DENIES LINK WITH FORMATION OF NEW POLITICAL GROUP. Says C"Me Out Of TNM Merger."

Against the backdrop of the announcement of the formation of a new political group, The National Movement, TNM as a political party that aims to take over from the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC in 2023, a former Governor of Kebbi state has denied any links with the new group.

Senator Adamu Aliero,  who is the Chairman, Senate Committee on Works and Vice Chairman, Senate Committee on Appropriation, has dissociated himself from a purported plan to float the new TNM political party ahead of the 2023 general election. 

The former Kebbi State governor, has therefore, described the reports as unfounded, baseless and untrue. 

According to senator Aliero he neither attended nor participated in any discussion or meeting to form a new political party, saying my party remained the All Progressive Congress (APC). 

"Though there's freedom of association, forming, or joining any political party, but that's not part of my agenda for now," Senator Aliero said. 

"I am not part of any merger with the TNM and if interested, I will be the first person to make it it known to my supporters and the public not others mischievous makers". Senator Aliero added. 

Recalled that, Former Governor of Kano State, Engr. Rabi'u Musa Kwankwaso was seen in Abuja with some Nigerian big wigs lunching and inaugurating, the new political party, TNM, with the title "Rescue Nigeria Project".
