The National Chairman and Founder of the New Nigeria People's Party (NNPP), Dr. Boniface Okechukwu Aniebonam has declared that Nigerians deserve young, energetic and vibrant candidates as leaders at various levels.

According to Dr. Aniebonam, "this is only possible through NNPP our great party that has shown example by bringing this class of youths onboard our Working Committee at national, zonal, state and local government levels and they are living up to expectations as the party is waxing stronger daily." 

He made the disclosures while presenting the "Interested Aspirants Online E-Registration Portal" to the public, in a statement issued by the Deputy National Publicity Secretary, Rev. Emmanuel Olorunmagba on his behalf.

In the statement, Dr. Boniface urged vibrant and energetic youths of proven integrity that have cognate working experience at managerial levels in businesses, corporate bodies or any organisation where they have managed personnel and finances at high level to aspire for leadership positions in the country towards building a New Nigeria.

The Chairman stressed that experience is vital in leadership because it will be disastrous to give inexperienced people high leadership positions in a country or state, but the youths can gather relevant experience in different spheres and grow in the system rather than sitting on the fence. 

"If you are interested in contesting you can't continue to sit on the fence thinking of how to get party ticket: the New Nigeria People's Party (NNPP) under my leadership has offered you the opportunity to get the ticket and have your name on the INEC portal and ballot papers if you are qualified.

"As there is no room for independent candidature in Nigeria for now, with the way it is like passing through the eye of a needle get party tickets of the two major political parties in Nigeria, no matter how competent the youths are, it will be so difficult if not impossible for you to come to power at any level in Nigeria except anyone whose biological father is in power or was once in power: If not for a party like New Nigeria People's Party that can make that possible based on competence!" 

Dr. Boniface Aniebonam, an astute politician and business mogul, expressed satisfaction in the leadership of the party comprise mainly of youths. 

"For instance, in piloting the affairs of our great party, NNPP, we have given vibrant youths opportunities and we have not regretted it, rather we keep experiencing new innovation and seeing the party flying higher daily, so we hope the youths will do well if they assume political power based on their level of competence". He concluded.
