I stand with those who stand with me and I honour those who honour me. I make mo apology for that.

I am one of those that believes in politics without bitterness and will continue to raise my voice against it, anywhere I see it.

I have known Hon Micheal Diden a.k.a Ejele for a very long time and I believe I know him well enough to talk about his character, belief and integrity, even though I haven't worked with him closely.

The wild and baseless allegations of financial impropriety being peddled about him all over the social media and the list of properties that he supposedly acquired as Chairman of DESOPADEC, are fake, false and totally unbecoming of the identifiable individual and those that are sponsoring them. 

I was mortified and disgusted by these cruel and vile allegations about a profoundly good man and I am constrained to stand up and speak out for my brother, friend and political leader. That is what friendship and loyalty entails.

In any case, when you see a lie, you have a duty before man and God to expose it for what it is and shoot it down. 

That is decency and justice and it does not matter whether you and the object or target of such perfidious mendacities are on the same side of the political divide or not. 

I believe we were first friends and brothers before belonging to a political party and only a fool will exalt a political party over friendship, integrity and brotherhood.

All the properties mentioned in that spurious and unfounded allegations were acquired long before Hon Micheal Diden resumed office as Chairman of DESOPADEC beside the fact that, he was extremely rich, before he assumed that position. 

We should eschew the politics of hate, bitterness and division and renounce those that seek to destroy the names and hard-earned reputations of others simply because they see them as an obstacle to achieving their political aspirations. 

Simply because you want to be the next Governor or Senator, does not mean that you must defame and slander a profoundly good man. 

I pray that those behind this vicious and callous smear campaign against Hon Micheal Diden a.k.a Ejele come to terms with the fact that it does not serve them well to attempt to disgrace or destroy one of the brightest stars in the politics of Delta state 

May God help us all and protect us from evil and destructive men who are prepared to do anything including blackmail, to achieve power.

May God save us from all wickedness in high places and may he  continue to lead, guide, defend and protect from evil doers and sons of perdition
