.... Commend delta state governor, Dr. Senator Arthur Ifeanyi Okowa for the exemplary leadership he has displayed in managing the affairs of the state, including his performances at the national level where he distinguished himself to the admiration of Deltans and Nigerians at large.

The Delta Focus Group worldwide, a group of notable personalities in the oil rich Delta State, with concerns for the sustained growth, development, prosperity and overall wellbeing of the good people of their beloved state, have called upon deltans home and abroad, to come together in the development of the state and its citizenry to its potential, if government must succeed in delivering quality governance and development.

The group, according its Chairman, Hon Chris Ufuoma Usen Jones, disclosed that, "the vision of the group is to ensure and appreciate good governance that will pave way for the socioeconomic development in the state as well as entrench proper representation of Deltans in the political scheme of things in the comity of states, in Nigeria."

Honourable Chris Ufuoma Usen Jones, a respected socialite and astute businessman stated this recently, following the conclusion of primaries by the various political parties to elect their representatives for the forthcoming general elections in the state, come 2023. 

According to him, "Government at all tiers cannot single-handed tackle the developmental challenges and the upliftment of the citizenry, create jobs and employment opportunities, without the involvement and active participation of the business class. It therefore, behoves on the business community to join hands with government in building the people and state."

He however, enjoined the government, as partners in progress, create and ensure that the enabling environment for the business community to thrive successfully.

He commended the delta state governor, Dr. Senator Arthur Ifeanyi Okowa for the exemplary leadership he has displayed in managing the affairs of the state, including his performances at the national level where he distinguished himself to the admiration of Deltans and Nigerians at large. 

In his words, "I will not be surprised if he, Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa is given a larger responsibility at the national level. He is a good leader who defines what true leadership is about." 

He stressed that, "good governance and proper representation is a quality that distinguishes leaders from rulers and delta state has an abundance of such persons and, with the right persons in positions, we are sure of a greater delta." 

"We have leaders with visionary mindset and capacity to deliver on the dividends of democracy to the good people of our beloved delta state. All that is required is ensuring that the people continue to elect and support the government in actualizing its goals."
