"At 59, Deputy Senate President, and Delta APC Gubernatorial Flag bearer, Senator Ovie Omo-Agege, is the man of the moment in the politics of Delta State." Niboro.
"Senator Ovie Omo-Agege's solid contributions to Delta Central, the State, and the Niger Delta, and indeed to our great party, the All Progressives Congress, have distinguished him as the man of the moment in the politics of our state."
The Delta APC Gubernatorial Campaign Organisation has said that at 59, Deputy Senate President, and Delta APC Gubernatorial Flag bearer, Senator Ovie Omo-Agege, is the man of the moment in the politics of Delta State.
In a statement to mark Omo-Agege’s birthday, Ima Niboro, Director, Communications and Media Strategy, said the Director-General, Elder Godsday Orubebe, and members of the campaign organisation, lauded the leadership of Omo-Agege, noting that he has become an inspiration the majority of Deltans.
Niboro said the Delta APC flagbearer has lived a life of service, and has delivered his tasks with boldness, courage and diligence.
He pointed out that the political trajectory of the DSP through the offices of Executive Assistant to the governor, Commissioner for Special Duties, Secretary to State Government, and currently, a two-time senator, with intervention projects that cut across the state, make him the most qualified to govern Delta.
"Senator Ovie Omo-Agege's solid contributions to Delta Central, the State, and the Niger Delta, and indeed to our great party, the All Progressives Congress, have distinguished him as the man of the moment in the politics of our state.
"Without a doubt, our people have felt the dividends of democracy through genuine, conscious and principled representation. It is no surprise that he has 28 critical bills to his credit in the 9th Assembly and over 600 constituency projects in 2021 alone.
“Even our worst critics agree that Omo-Agege has chalked up sterling achievements in the Senate, with his impact stretching beyond his direct constituency, and across various sectors, remarkably roads, schools, electricity, solar power, rural electrification, water projects, educational and ICT infrastructure, primary healthcare, human capital development and empowerment.
“That Senator Ovie Omo-Agege is the most suitable and qualified to move Delta to a new threshold is not in question. With him on the saddle come 2023, Deltans will witness more people-oriented projects, empowerment and human capital development as encapsulated in our EDGE agenda,” Niboro said.
