YOUTH GROUPS STORM ZAZZAU, DRUM SUPPORT FOR ATIKU'S PRESIDENCY ..... Insists Atiku Is Knowledgeably In Tackling And Resolving Nigeria's Insecurity And Economic Woes

“Integrity matters greatly in terms of leadership and, we are therefore sure that Atiku Abubakar is a man of such standing and he will liberate the people whenever he is given the opportunity to be the President of Nigeria." Barr. Mustapha Sani.

"Let us all remember what transpired in the last elections here in Nigeria in 2019. Many were of the belief that since Buhari was from the north and a Muslim, that as northerners, we would enjoy his leadership. Just see the irony of the whole issue.”

The 2023 presidential elections has seen youths lining up behind the candidacy of the People’s Democratic Party, Atiku Abubakar GCON, Wazirin Adamawa, in what many political analysts and observers say, is a positive vibe for his aspiration to preside over the affairs of Nigeria and help rebuild the country from the very deplorable state it is currently enmeshed.

Youth groups, under the auspices of Atiku Support Organizations, ASO penultimate weekend, stormed the ancient city of Zazzau to brainstorm with like minds on the need to increase the momentum, to see the aspiration of their candidate come to fruition.

The event, which had notable groups, personalities in attendance enjoyed wide commendation and coverage.

One of the participants, Barrister Yusuf Sambo, a respected political actor in his speech, said most nigerians are emotionally attached to religion and ethnicity.

He stressed that it was high time that the people look for credibility in leadership, irrespective of religion, ethnicity and political affiliation.

He said: “This country has reached its peak with so many problems and shackles that we need people of integrity. When we look at the issue of corruption, it is the lack of integrity that causes it. When we also look at the issue of insecurity, it is also inflicted with corruption and that is why, we are where we are today.”

“Integrity matters greatly in terms of leadership and, we are therefore sure that Atiku Abubakar is a man of such standing and he will liberate the people whenever he is given the opportunity to be the President of Nigeria."

According to others at the event, "the insecurity and economic challenges in the country, has greatly impacted negatively the growth of the nation, noting that the time to seek and get the right candidate and person that has the capacity and capability to rescue and salvage the situation before it assumes an irredeemable situation.

“Some of these leaders in positions today,” according to Mustapha Sani, a prominent member of the Atiku Support Group, ASO, “know what they are doing through deceit and lies. You cannot come and deceive us with religion and religious sentiments when you know that you are lacking in capacity or strength to do the task.

Do not think that because you are a Muslim or Christian and you believe that you will go to your people and claim you religion and therefore, expect their support.

“Let us all remember what transpired in the last elections here in Nigeria in 2019. Many were of the belief that since Buhari was from the north and a Muslim, that as northerners, we would enjoy his leadership. Just see the irony of the whole issue.” Sani warned.

Another speaker at the event, Abigail Sebastine, a youth motivator and grassroots organizer from the Kaduna Chapter of the Atiku Support Organization, stated that, “at this time of our nationhood, we need one another to unify and battle together in order to resolve the situation we have found ourselves in, today.

Speaking on the ongoing political face-off between the Presidential candidate of the PDP, Atiku Abubakar and Governor Nyesom Wike, Abigail reiterated her strong belief in the capabilities of both leaders to reach an amicable resolution of their differences before the campaigns commence fully.

"It is purely an internal issue and not something we have to fret about." She stated.

Mohammed Mahmoud, National Coordinator of the Confederative Developments Ambassadors of Nigeria, CDAN who is also a leading figure of ASO, noted that, “when the government becomes troubled, Atiku is simply the solution. Again, when we say that Atiku is the solution, it is because we know that he has the knowledge in putting things right and back in their respective places, if not making it much better.”
The major position of the youths was their strong position and declaration that the perceived political rift between the Rivers state governor, Barr. Nyesom Wike and the presidential candidate of the PDP will not in any way affect the chances and victory of the party in the 2023 general elections.
