DELTA CP PRESENTS #26.1M CHEQUES TO FAMILIES OF DECEASED OFFICERS .... Decorates Newly Promoted ACP's, CSPs.

.... Admonishes all the newly promoted officers to remember that the reward for hard work is more work and therefore advises them to put more effort in whatever they do as Police officers. 

The Delta State Police Commissioner, Ari Mohammed Ali, FCIA, PSC+ has, on behalf of the Inspector General of Police, IGP Alkali Baba Usman, PSC+, FDC, NPM, CFR presented cheques totalling twenty-six million, one hundred and seventy thousand, seven hundred and sixty naira (#26,170,760), to families of deceased officers who died while in active service.

The cheques issued to the next of kins of seven deceased officers, is part of the IGP insurance welfare scheme. 

The CP, while presenting the cheques, appreciated the gesture exhibited by the IGP as the cheques will in no small way, act as a boost to the families and also, to let them know that though their loved ones are no more, the force did not forget their sacrifices. 

The beneficiaries thanked the IGP for his magnanimity, noting that the money given to them will be used judiciously.

Similarly, a statement by the Police Public Relations Officer, PPRO, Delta State Police, Command Headquarters Asaba, Deputy Superintendent of Police Bright Edafe, disclosed that it was a celebration galore as CP Ari Mohammed Ali decorated newly promoted officers to their new ranks of Assistant Commissioners of Police, ACP, Chief Superintendent of Police CSP at an event that took place at Conference Hall, State Command Headquarters, Asaba.

It was all smiles and merry as the Command witnessed the decoration of newly promoted officers of the Command. 

The newly promoted officers include; the DPO ‘A’ Division Asaba CSP Temitope Fasugba, the Officer In-Charge of the Homicide section of the State Criminal Investigation Department CSP Emmanuel Yakubu, the DPO Abbi Division and CSP Mu’azu Mohammed who were all promoted to the rank of an Assistant Commissioners of Police.

Others, are the Command Finance Officer (CFO) SP Ogungbagbe Opeyemi, the Commander Crack Squad, SP John Agaga and four others promoted to the rank of Chief Superintendents of Police.

The CP admonished all the beneficiaries to remember that the reward for hard work is more work and therefore advises them to put more effort in whatever they do as Police officers. 

ACP Temitope Fasugba, while giving a vote of thanks on behalf of the beneficiaries, stated that they will not disappoint the IGP and the Command as they move to the next level in their Policing careers.
