NEWS: SUSPECTED INTERNET FRAUDSTERS STAGE PROTEST AGAINST EFCC IN DELTA

Suspected internet fraudsters otherwise known as "Yahoo-Yahoo" boys, today staged a protest against the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC.

The suspected internet fraudsters locked down the Effurun roundabout and the East-West road by Otovwodo junction in Uvwie and Ughelli, Ughelli North Local Government Area of Delta State.

It is not clear if officials of the EFCC were on ground to arrest any of the suspected internet fraudsters at the time of this report.

A cross section of the society have condemned the fraudulent activities of the suspected internet fraudsters just as they also lashed at the EFCC for what they termed "illegal raiding" and advised that they be civil in their operations.

A human right activist, Comrade Israel Joe in a statement, frowned at the activities of fraudsters but said; "I have no apologies to say the politicians are the greatest fraudsters in this country.

According to him, "They defrauded our education, they defrauded our economy,  they defrauded our security, they defrauded our power (NEPA or PHCN), they defrauded our national assets and they defrauded our natural and human resources, etc.
