Pandemonium broke out during the week in Asaba, the Delta State capital when a yet to be identified man, allegedly stabbed a lady to death and setting the building on fire.

According to reports, the unidentified man suspected to be an internet fraudster popularly referred to as “yahoo boy” reportedly stabbed the young lady identified as a commercial sex worker to death in a hotel, located along the very busy Nnebisi road in Asaba, the Delta State capital.

Available reports reveal that the suspect, who is now at large, also set the hotel ablaze after killing the deceased.

Sources on ground revealed that the incident would have gone unnoticed if not for the thick smoke emanating from the room which immediately enveloped the area.

“We don’t know the man, and neither do we know what happened, but, the girl is dead now. The man ran away after what he did. We need the police to help arrest the man so he can face the law." The source appealed.
