THE PDP G-5 GOVERNORS.

THE PDP G-5: This Is One Of The True Dynamics Of 2023 Presidential Election, If They Make The Right Choice. David Adenekan.

"Tinubu is not a politician you can mess with. He is one of the grounded students of Nicole Machiavelli, the Prince in modern day politics. "The end justifies the means."

Politics is very dynamic. That Peter Obi will not have the control of the National Assembly if he wins, is not in doubt. However, Obi's  level of political sagacity and negotiating skills can still give him the leverage to get things done, in the National Assembly. 

Mark my words, many of the members of the National Assembly may cross carpet to the Labour Party, LP if Obi wins. 

Also, we have had two instances in this dispensation that the ruling party was not in firm grip of the National Assembly. The Peoples Democratic Party, PDP as a ruling party under GEJ in 2014, going into the 2015 elections, was not in firm control of the House of Representatives. Aminu Tambuwal was not the choice of the party for the Office of Speaker. Tambuwal worked in alliance with the leaders of the opposition party as at that time; the Action Congress of Nigeria, ACN to defeat the preferred choice of the ruling party, Hon. Mulikat Adeola Akande.

Similar events happened under President Muhammadu Buhari in his first term when Senator Bukola Saraki and Hon. Dogara formed an alliance with the leaders of the opposition party, PDP to defeat the preferred choice of the ruling party.

Hstorically, in the first Republic, all members of NCNC in the western region House of Parliament cross-carpeted overnight to the opposition party, AG to form a majority government. It is all the game of politics and "never say never", because, in politics every politician is ready to join another group where his or her interest will be best served. 

There is no permanent enemy or permanent friend in politics. What you have is permanent interest. It is all about how to stay put in power. 

Did we not hear Tinubu saying, "they must grab power at all cost", even when it is so glaring that the party has failed the citizens. Hmmm, "a do or die politics"!

A bag of rice jumped from 7k to 50k and the inflationary gap in the country defies all logics. Also, there is unabated rising surge of insecurities all over the country.

Yes, things are really bad under the ruling party, APC. 

Yes, it is only a man with lack of good conscience that will not admit that this government is an abysmal failure.

In addition, Governor Michael Otedola of blessed memory was able to navigate the stormy waters of Lagos politics by working with the majority members of the State House of Assembly from the opposition party, SDP to govern the state.

What is really going well for Obi is the surge at the grassroots, across the country. Though, some people may say, it is an online momentum but I just laugh. 😁

Why do you think Tinubu and Atiku campaign teams are very jittery and they are running helter skelter? 

Yes they are, because any serious candidate that underrates the ObiDatti Movement, will do it at his own peril. It is what it is. 

The ObiDatti Movement is even gaining great traction among the power brokers that are not politicians but they are powerful to get things done. 

A lot of permutations are going underground. Someone, only a few days ago told me OBJ is a deadwood and I laughed. 😁.

Hmmmmm! Who do you think is behind Tinubu not getting clearance to visit United States and seek for western support? 

Did OBJ not clear the way for Atiku ahead of the 2019 presidential election against all odds to get a restricted visa to visit USA? This is regardless of the fact that, there was a sanction on him not to visit USA.

Did Obasanjo not clear the road to Aso Rock for every President after him, namely: Shehu Yar'Adua, Goodluck Ebele Azikiwe Jonathan and Muhammadu Buhari?? The only exception was President Muhammadu Buhari's second term election; and the reason why he could not stop Buhari was that, it was very difficult to defeat an incumbent president in Africa.

Hmmm!! "Say it to the marines" that OBJ is not relevant in today's Nigeria politics.

Again, this ObiDatti Movement is beyond human imagination. If Tinubu thinks he will be able to convince the G-5 to give him support on the basis of the ruling party having a strong party structure all over Nigeria especially with the PDP G-5 Governors rooting for a southern President and, that he, Tinubu is the right choice, then, I doubt if he is getting the reality on the ground. 

Methinks, the G-5 are very smart people. They know the implications of a Tinubu or an Atiku presidency. They are not daft. 

A Peter Obi Presidency will make them; the G5 remain relevant in politics. Yes, it all depends on the level of negotiation. 

History does not lie! All the PDP governors and party big wigs of the party that betrayed GEJ and supported APC to win the 2015 presidential election, went into political oblivion. Where are they now? Any attempt for the PDP G-5 to allow Tinubu or Atiku to win this election, they are gone. I mean they are goners, politically.

Please go and ask the High Chief of Ibadan, Rasheed Ladoja, what the Tinubu's camp did to him after he supported Tinubu's candidate, Abiola Ajumobi of blessed memory to win the governorship election in Oyo state. Tinubu's camp dislodged him of all his power in government after almost a year of consolidating their power in Oyo state. He has not yet recovered from the devastating blow he received from Tinubu's camp. 

Hmmm, Tinubu is not a politician you can mess with. He is one of the grounded students of Nicole Machiavelli, the Prince in modern day politics. "The end justifies the means."

Again G-5, do not dine with the devil. Don't even give him a chance.

My strong advice to the PDP G 5, is to use #ObiDatti Movement to fight the cause of their lives. PLEASE BE PRAGMATIC AND JOIN HANDS WITH THE MASSES TO BE PART OF HISTORY.

YES, THE G-5 CAN BE ONE OF THE REAL DYNAMICS OF TODAY'S POLITICS IN NIGERIA IF THEY MAKE THE RIGHT CHOICE.
