Ahead of the 2023 forthcoming general elections, the Deputy President of the Senate, Sen. Ovie Omo-Agege today urged the people of Aladja to join him a stop to the "Okowa dynasty of illiterates" in the State.
Sen. Omo-Agege made the call when he visited the Community for his campaign. He (Omo-Agege) and his supporters were received by a mammoth crowd in Aladja. He dared the People's Democratic Party, PDP as he toured the Community.
The federal lawaker said the people should vote enmass for all candidates of the All Progressives Congress, APC in the forthcoming election.
Sen. Omo-Agege promised to do whatever Aladja community wants because he knows the pains of the people.
He added that he will build a second bridge for Udu people with the provision of employments for the teeming youths.
Sen. Omo-Agege was flanked by his running mate, Hon. Friday Osanebi who said Aladja has shown that APC is the party to beat.
He vowed to employ Aladja indigenes if voted into the Delta State Government House.
Hon. Osanebi called on the people to give their supports and cast their votes for the APC in the forthcoming 2023 election.
Earlier, it was rumoured that some hoodlums had allegedly threatened that, Sen. Ovie Omo-Agege and his supporters will not enter into Aladja Community for his campaign hence, he (Omo-Agege) toured the Community today.
Our Correspondent who monitored the campaign reports that the hoodlums could not show their faces anywhere as the campaign was free of crisis and peaceful.
