Gunmen have shot dead, a young man as they abducted another in Mosogar Community, in Ethiope-West Local Government Area of Delta State.

The young man who was shot dead was identified as, Louis Saturday Agboma. He was shot at close range and left in the pool of his own blood.

He died on the way as he was being rushed to the hospital where was declared dead after he had lost so much blood.

It was learnt that the gunmen attempted to abduct the first victim at the entrance of his compound on his return from an outing but he resisted their moves and in the process, he was shot dead.

The one who was kidnapped is the son of one Mr. Peter Akpoyibo.

The Delta State Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Bright Edafe confirmed the report in a text message he sent to Our Correspondent in Warri.
