A young Nigerian lover and hunter of talented kids has disclosed that her passion for human development especially when it comes to children, made her to go into the project of providing an enabling environment for these special category of kids, across the country.
Miss Ebere Nnamoko, who is the President of Gifted African Kids Club; a Non Governmental Organisation, NGO that is focused on the human development of talented young Nigerian kids, disclosed that there are a lot of kids that grew up having potentials that were never tapped.
According to Miss Nnamoko, "it is one thing for someone to have potentials and it is another for it to be tapped early and nurtured.
"There are a lot of these talented kids out there but there is also the need for the early discovery of such talents in every child that is gifted." She stated.
"I strongly believe that if everyone including myself can put our talents to work, the world will be a more beautiful place to behold." She said.
She added that some kids discover areas they are gifted late, while some may discover early. However, they end up been unable to use it due to distractions, while many others fail to discover theirs and die with it.
"Having discovered these problems and my passion for developing talented children, I decided to come up with this project in order to explore these identified areas."
Speaking on her vision and the Nigerian environment Miss Nnamoko reiterated her strong belief and love for her country, stressing that she is proud to be a Nigerian irrespective of the challenges that the country is currently experiencing.
She added that, it is only Nigerians thatcan make Nigeria better, just as we want it to be and I know we can do it.
