One of nigeria's greatest players who captained the three national football teams, namely; Golden Eaglets, Flying Eagles and the Super Eagles, Kanu Nwankwo has joined millions of admirers to mourn the death of one of the world's most celebrated football icon, Pele. 

Kanu, a former top member of the English football team, Arsenal has paid tribute to Football iconic star, Pele in a brief statement.

Kanu Nwankwo, popularly known as "Papilo" in his tribute, simply wrote:

“Pele 🤍 🕊 #thegreatest R I P”

The Global football society is indeed in mourning as the soccer legend is laid to rest.
