Lieutenant General Oladipo Diya, a former Chief of Staff during the military regime of late General Sani Abacha, is dead.

The death of the military officer was made public by his Prince Oyesinmilola Diya, in an announcement on Sunday morning.

According to Prince Diya, “On behalf of the entire Diya family home and abroad; we announce the passing on to Glory of our dear Husband, Father, Grandfather  and Brother, Lt- General Donaldson Oladipo Oyeyinka Diya (retd) GCON, LLB, BL, PSC, FSS, mni.
