BREAKING: EL-RUFAI COMMENCES DEMOLITION OF BUILDINGS IN GBAGYI VILLA

With barely a week to leave office as Governor of Kaduna State, Malam Nasir Ahmed el-Rufai has commenced demolition of buildings in Gbagyi Villa, a community of over thirty thousand  structures with a population of three hundred thousand inhabitants.

Sources in Kaduna revealed that officials of KASUPDA, accompanied by armed personnel of the Nigeria Police and the state-run Kaduna Vigilante Service stormed the community today and commenced demolition of houses. 

Reports say an aged woman reportedly slumped and died immediately seeing her property go under the weight of the machines.

Youths, in their numbers came out to protest this act of inhumanity, considering the billions of naira been destroyed. 

As at the time of this report, gunshots were heard while people were seen running helter skelter.
