Journalists at the Court to cover the Kano Governorship Election Petition Tribunal are in a state of dilemma facing attack and harrassment by the police.

BBC Hausa Reporter, Zahraddeen Lawal and Salim Umar Ibrahim of Daily Trust were attacked.

The Police who were on duty asked the Journalists to move about 10 meters away from the Court premises and in the process, some operatives began attacking Journalists alleging that they were taking pictures.

Some of them hijacked BBC's reporter trying to snatch his phone in his pocket while another held to Daily Trust reporters phone also and in the process of dragging, spoiled the screen of his phone.
