EFCC Operatives Storm Dangote Head Office Over FX Transactions

Developing reports on Thursday reveal that a contingent of operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC conducted a search operation at the Lagos head office of the Dangote Group.

Available information as at the time of this publication revealed that the operatives carried out the search operation following a continued investigations of Forex allocations to the company during the tenure of the embattled former Governor of the Central Bank, Mr Godwin Emefiele.

Dele Oyewale, the EFCC’s spokesman confirmed the development.

Also, a source at the Dangote head office said the operatives are asking for documents on foreign exchange transactions with the CBN.
