FUNERAL RITES FOR LATE MADAM KATHERINA IBIERIE OMONIYI

The families of Omoniyi and Adjueshi of Okuode and Umonu Communities, both in Jesse, Delta state cordially invites friends and well wishers to the funeral ceremony of their beloved Matriarch, Mother, Grandmother, Great Grandmother, Sister and friend, Madam Katherina Ibierie Omoniyi, aged 88years.

A statement announcing the ceremony which is signed by Sir Goodluck Ochuko Omoniyi, disclosed that the burial arrangements their beloved Matriarch will commence on Thursday 07th of March 2024 with the Service of Songs at the St. Luke’s Anglican Church Cathedral, Boyo Road, Sapele by 4pm.

Funeral rites and internment will take place on Friday, 08th of March 2024 at 10am as the body of Late Madam Katherina Ibierie Omoniyi will depart Obule Medical Centre, Okpe Road in Sapele, for a brief stopover at her residence, 78A Ireto road and from there, the convoy will depart for Jesse her hometown for the funeral rites and burial.

Sir Goodluck Ochuko Omoniyi further announced that on arrival in Jesse town, there will be an open air service at the Jesse Primary School situated along Idjerhe Grammar School Road by 11am prompt.

Internment follows immediately in her Compound; Katherina Omoniyi Drive.

Reception for invited guests is at Jesse Primary School.

Thanksgiving/Outing Service will take place on Sunday, 10 March 2024 at St. Luke’s Anglican Church Cathedral Sapele.

Sir Goodluck Ochuko Omoniyi also used the opportunity to invite all members of the Sapele Memories Foundation to join him give a very befitting burial to his very beloved mother, saying that his late mother had a good son that she was very proud about.
